India lost No. 1 spot, Pakistan climbed to top spot in Test Cricket

Pakistan have climbed to the No. 1 spot in ICC Test rankings for the first time ever after the last test match of India vs West Indies has been called draw due to rain. India needed to win the match to stay on the top of the table but draw meant India lost 2 points and now on the 2nd spot behind the Pakistan.

Since August 2014, when they were down at No. 6, Pakistan never lost any test series. Apart from the successes against England, Pakistan won the series with 2-0 in 2015 in UAE, they able to draw the series in 2016 in England with brilliant performance,

They had also beaten Sri Lanka 2-1 in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh 1-0 in Bangladesh, and whitewashed Australia 2-0 in the UAE. Against New Zealand in the UAE in November 2014, they had drawn 1-1.

They never played any test match at home (Pakistan) after 2009 attack. They away each match away from home and still they are unbeatable side after 2014.

Pakistan will be playing against New-Zeland in November and India will be hosting in September against New-Zeland, it will great chance for India to win and become the number one side again.
